Valhalla Sho Stopper

Sho Stopper & Sellout – Valhalla

Tonight, we dine in Valhalla!

Valhalla has been known to make some of the gnarliest looking boards ever. Their sleek designs and cnc’d wheel wells are some of the most notorious and dangerously mischievious things to come by in the longboard scene. With their unique but pragmatic shapes like the black dolphin and the master blaster, Valhalla sits under the feet of hundreds of incredible skaters. But of course, it’s Valhalla and Alex Ameen and he wanted more.

This time around, Valhalla releases two pro-models, both totally unique and guaranteed to be shapes that you have never seen before. One’s a downhill pintail shape, something that’s gone obsolete from today’s market, but was once a classic staple. Another’s an innovative cutout deck that rivals the most advanced cutout decks available on the market.

Introducing the Valhalla Sellout and Sho Stopper.

The Valhalla Sellout is one sexy board. It’s a chopped pintail shape, completely speed stiff and features Valhalla’s signature mellow concave featuring 0.666 inches of concave and rocker, with a good serving of W concave in the back for maximum grip. There’s a standard half-inch of taper and a set of some of Valhalla’s unique wheel wells to show off.

The Sho Stopper is Sho Oullette’s pro-model board. This has been in development for a while now, but now it’s out there for all of you to enjoy! This deck features Valhalla’s standard 0.666 concave. However, this board is unique in the Valhalla line because it’s symmetrical, and it’s Valhalla’s current premier cutout deck. So for those wanting to run huge wheels without risers, this is the one for you.

Holesom Special / Loaf Over Under

Special / Loaf – Holesom

Holesom has been in the game since 2009. They’re the archetype of a company who remembers that it’s about having fun going down hills. Their unique style gives that sexy, ambient kind of vibe and it’s translated well into the updated versions of their Special and Loaf decks.

The Special was predominantly designed by rider Jordan Hessler in it’s original form. The update is a directional freeride deck designed around rocker and mellow flares, measuring 33 7/8″ long by 8 5/8″ wide at the trucks and 9 5/8″ wide at the waist. It features 1/2″ of concave throughout with some W running from halfway to the back. This creates a super comfortable board for pushing around and doing downhill; your front foot is comfortable but definitely doesn’t have its bubble burst at any point. It offers 3 variable wheelbase options in 1″ increments from 24-26″.

The original Loaf is an extended version of the Biscuit, a derivative of the Holesom owner’s surfboard. The new loaf has been upgraded to a hardrock maple construction and is fitted with some awesome spoon-concave kicktails! It measures 39.5″ long by 9.5″ at its widest point, tapering off to a skinnier 8.75″ near the ends. It also offers 3 variable wheelbase options in 1″ increments from 24-26″ and features a nose spoon micro-kick, mellow flares and 1/2″ of concave with a W running to the tail out back. With a good setup, this board will become your freeride bread and butter!

These updates represent hours of testing and refinement by team riders Gustavo Mello and Antonio Moscatelli. Want to ride with a smile? Hit the link to keep it Holesome and pick up one of these new decks.

Dont' Trip B Hangers and Baseplates

Bhangers – Don’t Trip

Don’t Trip Trucks is a company notorious for its role in creating some of the most innovative trucks on the market. The trucks are deceptively light-weight, uniquely designed and come at a mellower price than most high-end trucks. They do this by manufacturing components that are compatible with each other. This allows for versatile engineering and easy manufacturing of new trucks.

Don’t Trip has managed to create an arsenal of high-quality trucks that meet the needs of a wide variety of disciplines. The new Bhangers fit right in as a precision, traditional kingpin truck well suited for carving, pumping or long-distance pushing. They’re compatible with G/Bomb brackets and related DT products.

The Bhangers ship with axles and spacers that offer four different widths depending on configuration: 125, 131, 137 and 143MM. They’re also available with two different baseplate options in 11° or 25°. The 11° baseplates work well with G/Bomb Superfork or wedged decks while the 25° baseplates work well on a flat mount.

Spherical bearings make these some of the only commercially available, precision traditional kingpin trucks at the moment. They’re CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and ship with RipTide APS bushings and pivot cups.

These unique specifications make the Bhangers a one of a king offering. Hit the link to check them out and cop a set from Don’t Trip. Trucks ship from their shop in Pompano Beach, FL.

Hurtle Skateboards Stained Maple Deck

Stained Maple – Hurtle Skateboards

Hurtle boards are made either in limited runs or as special one offs. There is no mass production going on in their workshop. Each deck is individually pressed and hand shaped to get every detail as close to perfect as possible. The new Stained Maple deck is a product of Brad Mallett and DysfunctionalSoldier‘s creativity, combined with Hurtle’s skill. They’ve done a handful of artist collaborations previously, each with their own unique twist and this latest piece is no exception.

This deck is one of the most crisp, minimalist and appealing designs we’ve ever seen. The artwork has been burned into the deck using a laser etching process, creating absolutely explosive results. Hurtle views these collaborations as opportunities to push the envelope aesthetically while producing truly exclusive, artistic decks. Make no mistake though, Hurtle’s work can still shred after the picturesque photo-shoots.

Primate Gin Series Poster

Gin Series – Primate Longboards

Mass-produced, machine-run, identical boards sitting in a factory while hands pick them up, slide them into boxes and mindlessly ship them out to those at home, eager to get out and practice the same tricks, the same roads, the same races. Primate wants none of that. Primate Longboards specializes in unique. With their hand-crafted graphics and charred top-sheets, each one of the longboards in the Primate line-up is perfectly unique, different from every other board.

This time, Primate introduces to you the Gin series; a fun-oriented group of longboards that really digs back into the roots of longboarding: flowing, carving and cruising around the neighborhood on beautiful, hand-crafted longboards.

Longboard Design

The Gin series is comprised of three shapes . Each deck is made completely by hand with unique and individual character, guaranteed to be one of a kind.
