Randall Trucks announced over the weekend that they’d be releasing the completely redesigned RIII on April 1. That’s roughly two weeks from the time of this writing and since they’re already up on Randall’s website, it seems legit. Randall trucks have been around since the 1970s and have long been one of the standards. Most, if not all, longboarders have ridden or own an RII. The RIII marks an exciting redesign.
New Design Changes for Randall Trucks
The trucks feature a new baseplate with dual mounting holes on both ends for a little adjustment. They also lack the wings found on the RII baseplates, allowing the RIII to be drop-mounted on more boards. The hangers have been redesigned with stronger axles, machined bushing seats and pivot pins.
The bushing seat has also been redesigned and appears to be a lot tighter. The kingpin is now mounted nut side up. New bushings and pivot cups round out the RIII for what will surely be another killer offering from a legend in skate equipment. Grab a set at the link on release day, April 1st!

Four years ago we featured STRGHT skateboards and their awesome implementation of design and grip. They’ve only gotten better. New colors on some stylish decks.
Four years ago we featured STRGHT skateboards and their awesome implementation of design and grip. Their intricate patterns complemented the solid construction then and they’ve only gotten better since.
STRGHT has released a new series of decks called Under the Sun and they are stunning. They’ve taken the theme of elaborate patterns, incorporated bright colors and built something really charismatic. The seeds on the Mel are embossed and contribute to grip and detail. The detail of the palms on the Peace Out is a testament to their skill. The bright colors really pop.
We wouldn’t hesitate to cruise on one of these decks and look forward to seeing one pass by. Head over to STRGHT skateboards to pick one up at the link.

Huff & Puff Board Co caught our attention by utilizing reclaimed wood to build boards in a sustainable way. They’re working on a new drop through deck!
Based out of Bremen, Indiana, Andrew Huff of Huff & Puff Board Co emphasizes sustainable board-building by using only reclaimed or recycled wood. Each deck is hand-made and build materials have included old barn beams and aged wine barrels. Sustainable construction really interests us and the decks Andrew puts out are beautiful examples of his skill as a craftsmen.
Huff & Puff lists several boards for sale on their website and custom, hand-made deck are also available by order. Recently we noticed a drop-through in the works and it’s looks equally sexy and environmentally friendly. Take a look at the link to see what else Huff & Puff have available.
