Buddy Buddy Boards has always been a buddy to nature with new, innovative and environmentally friendly production methods that haven’t been seen anywhere else.
Their “Anchorcore” technology is unique in the union of the upper and lower fiber layers by anchor points through holes in the core. The anchors join the two layers, allowing both to play a role in supporting the weight of the rider, increasing torsional stiffness and vibration dampening.
New Board: The ST (SportTurismo) Deck
Their newest addition, the 2017 “ST” deck is no anomaly when it comes to this innovative construction. The new 36.5 inch by 9.5 inch deck features a mellow W-concave for comfort and grip, and a semi-cutout topmount shape for downhill ease. The core is made of Poplar and Ash with the stringers grown in one piece from tip to tail, and plies are laminated with Entropy resins to make a bond so tight, there is a 5 year warranty for delamination.
Pictured is the regular ST deck. The black bottom is the limited edition release, laminated with Basalt Rock fibers instead of fiberglass. Innovative, lighter, and 20% stiffer.

About Buddy Buddy
Their Anchorcore tech is sick. That we all know.
Their decks beyond the SportTurismo are just as sick. The Cruiser fits a casual, city-style ride that is fitting as the shortest longboard in their collection. Their GrandTurismo (GT) is versatile and often used for people creating their own e-board complete. Throw in a few other styles and you can see they have a ton of versatility in their current inventory.
Their snowboards are also sick, but we don’t want to get carried away…

Rogue incorporated community and team-rider feedback into a recent update of their precision trucks. Geometry and the insert bushing concept remain the same while improvements focus on making the trucks more usable and lightweight. Read our guide to the best longboard trucks to learn more about the best trucks.
The bushing seat features a new chamfer allowing for easy assembly or dis-assembly with less contact from the kingpin. In an effort to reduce weight, material was removed from the baseplates and reliefs were milled into the hangers. While these adjustments lower the weight of the assembled truck, Rogue was careful not to compromise any strength or integrity. You can be confident they’re right thanks to their lifetime no-bend guarantee.
Available Truck Sizes
The new precisions are available in 160MM or 180MM hanger widths with 15°, 30°, 43° and 50° baseplates. Each set ships with 87a, 90a and 93a Venom tall bushings so you can dial them in to your preference. Also included are 93a insert bushings and 93a pivot cups. Kingpins and axles are pressed in and the axles are now secured with dual set screws. You may have seen dual set screws before the update: Rogue introduced this feature on the last production run of the trucks before the update.
Hit the link and grab a set from Full Circle Distribution. Rogue will throw in a free t-shirt with your order!
UPDATE: New photo of the chamfer added!

The Skipjack is the fourth and latest entry in the artist series from Speedlab Wheels. It is inspired by #speedlabsupporter Brad Morse’s battle with Lymphoma and Speedlab will donate 100% of the proceeds from this wheel to help Brad and his family in their fight.
Brad’s friend and artist Fil Lapointe designed the artwork for the Skipjack to embody Brad’s likeness. The Skipjack is a classic profile, measures 61MM tall with a 28MM contact patch and is poured in 99A durometer urethane.

Jet dropped the 2016 Vulcan lineup last week totaling 9 decks and introducing new models, sizes and features. The series is oriented towards freeride and competitive downhill racing and all top mount.
The Bangers
The Bangers make up the shorter side of the series with 32 and 33 inch standing platforms. Wheelbases range 22-23.75″ and 23.4-24.9″ respectively. Both Bangers feature progressive tub concave, slight rocker, 1/4″ elliptical micro-drop and mini kicktails. They’re constructed with 7-Plys of Canadian hard Maple and graphics are applied with a pressure laminated heat transfer over a transparent brown or green stain.
The Versatile, New Kicks
Jet added some fun and versatility with the kicktails on the new Kicks. Measuring in at 34.5″, 35.5″ and 37.7″ they are long enough to bomb the steep but you can still thrash with the tail. Wheelbases on the Kicks range from 22″ to 27″ depending on your model of choice. Kick’s feature slight rocker, progressive concave, fender flairs and ¼” elliptical micro-drop pockets. The shorter model is constructed of 7-Plys of Canadian hard Maple while the longer two have 8. Graphics are painted and applied by hand using an air sprayer and silk screen.
The Vulcans: Classic, Rocker, & Vulcan CX
Rounding out the series are the Vulcan Classic, two new sizes of the Vulcan Rocker and a new composite Vulcan CX. The classic is 35″ long and features include a flat standing platform, 8-Play Canadian hard Maple construction and a range of wheelbase options from 24″ to 27.5″. The Rockers are now available in 35″ and 36.5″ lengths and the CX comes in at 36.5″.
The 2016 Vulcans show style and and run heavy on features. Jet is prepping their store to list the new Vulcan’s but you can grab them at the link when they’re available. We’ll update this post then!
