Introducing the SKOA Vertex, made with love in Germany.

When one speaks of luxury trucks, SKOA isn’t an uncommon name. SKOA revolutionized the truck game by not only creating utilitarian and functional precision trucks, but by also designing eye-candy.

The New Skoa Vertex

The new SKOA Vertex reverse-kingpin trucks combine the design of the existing Stream7 and M.Spec designs to give you a mix between grip, controlled slip and the classic SKOA stability at high speed; all the while keeping the classic SKOA I-Beam portfolio to guarantee maximum strength and minimum weight.

The SKOA Vertex has 1.5 degrees of positive rake and features race-oriented oversized pivot cups to give more support, durability and dampening. They also come equipped with tall SKOA bushings. All urethane parts are in 90a durometer and are hand-poured by SKOA in their manufacturing plant.

Hangars are available in 172mm or 178mm and baseplate combinations are available in 47 degrees symmetrical and also in a 47 degree and 42 degree split native. Grab a set at the link!

SK – Wasabi Wheels

Get your Green from Wasabi Wheels. Hand-made freeride and downhill wheels from Alicante, Spain.

Out of the Alicante comes Wasabi Wheels with the production of their new SK wheel. The wheels are made by hand in Spain and reflect extensive prototyping and testing from the team. Wasabi started production near mid July and the wheels currently available on request.

Wasabi’s 80a Greenthane provides a smooth and controlled ride with great balance between grip and slide. The SK’s are center set with a nearly 40MM diameter core and 11MM tall square lip. They measure 70MM tall and 50MM wide.

Vendetta V3 – Rayne Longboards

Looking to freeride, pump, cruise or maybe even some light downhill all on one deck? The Vendetta is Rayne’s solution for riders who want a little of it all. It’s drop-through truck mounts and low standing platform make it an all around performer and this year Rayne’s 2016 Vendetta V3 builds on the success of the original Vendetta by adding new features and a fresh look.

 

Its an inch shorter at 39″ and shaves a quarter-inch from the width at 9.75″ while maintaining the same 30″ wheelbase. Rayne’s Fat-Bottom construction is new along with some rocker and a .75″ micro radial drop. The fat-bottom prevents wheelbite and maintains rigidity with less material through the length of the board. The rocker and micro radial drop keep you in position, stable and aware of foot placement.

 

Rayne has baked in all the features from the original, including sharp edges, vertically laminated bamboo core, pre-tensioned fiberglass, leverage concave, firm flex, sublimated artwork and the environmentally friendly Bee Orange finish. The Vendetta ships with Atlas Ultralight trucks, Rayne Envy 70MM wheels and Vicious Griptape. Aldous – Dasilva Board Company

Form and function come together in the new Aldous by Dasilva Board Company. Their new freeride-friendly deck incorporates unique concave, wood/composite construction and some killer graphics!

Dasilva Board Company revealed the 2016 Aldous hill-thriller yesterday. This symmetrical shaped deck is freeride friendly and features a killer graphic from artist Untay.

Details on the Board

Tub concave with a steep center continues through the kicktails and contributes to rigidity without adding any extra material. Molded wheel flares prevent wheel bite without reducing integrity. The combination of concave, flares and kicktails give riders a distinct sense of their placement on the board.

The Aldous is constructed from a Finnish Birch core wrapped in multi-axial fiberglass and carbon fiber, keeping the weight down and the strength up. Untay’s graphics are printed on UHMW, scratch-resistant plastic sheets to ensure it stays pristine as long as the board.

NoBull Tucker – Moonshine Manufacturing

Team NoBull and Moonshine Manufacturing collaborated on this custom Tucker for the NoBull team riders. While these won’t be publicly available you can still grab a Tucker from Moonshine at the link!

A recent collaboration from Team NoBull and Moonshine MFG puts NoBull’s graphics on custom Moonshine Tuckers. The graphics feature nutritional information, ingredients and warnings reminiscent of what would “Give you wings” on the gas station shelf. We especially enjoyed the Total Fun Ridin’ Fact and the SKU!

All Moonshine’s decks are handmade in the USA and feature waterproof construction, urethane rails and truck mounts, vertically laminated wood cores and factory applied laser cut grip tape.

Specifications of Moonshine’s Tucker

The Tucker measures 33.5″ long by 9.75″ wide and offers 5 wheelbase options in .75″ increments from 23.5″ to 26.5″. The truck mounts at 0* on precision machined urethane to both dampen the ride and ensure accuracy. The urethane rails ensure you won’t have issues with delaminating after smashing curbs. The Tucker’s medium concave and micro drop lock you in at speed.
