Hi5ber just dropped five new additions to their collection this afternoon including a new mini, pintail, drop through and two downhill decks. Hi5ber is the industry leader in carbon fiber longboards. 10 different iterations of foamcore materials were tested until discovering the optimum combination. The result is a carbon fiber and foamcore board that is nearly weightless, rigid yet flexible and waterproof. They’re exceptionally light, strong and made in the USA!
The Commando and Commando-KT are downhill machines. They measure 34″ and 37″ long, respectively and come in at 10″ wide. Wheelbase options for the former are 22-24″ while the later sports 24.5-26.5″. Both feature .75″ progressive concave with a slight W in the back, .5″ rocker with 0° truck mounts and wheel wells and flares.
If you like to keep it one Hunnit, they’re new mini is for you. Featuring $100 bills in the finish, the Hunnit measures 25″ long by 7″ wide with a 14″ wheelbase and mild concave. Kicks in the front and the rear keep it interesting while you cruise. You get what you pay for!
The new Hemptail is for those who like to cruise on something a little longer. It measures 39″ long and 9.5″ wide with a wheelse of 26.5″. Mild concave and mild camber.
The Undertaker was built to rip. It’s designed to excel at freeride and downhill and it will put a grin on your face while doing it. It measures 34.5″ long by 9.75″ wide with wheelbase options from 27.5-28.25″. A .625″ progressive concave, .5″ rocker and .33″ microdrop in addition to the drop-thru design will keep you locked in and stable. Also notable are the carbon fiber bricks incorporated into the truck mounts. They keep it functional and sexy, ensuring extra strength in a critical region and preventing exposure to the foam core. Hi5ber knows what’s up!
All five new models include noseguards with purchase. Also available are custom colors and extra strength on each deck. Hit the link to see Hi5ber’s new drop and pick one up for a rip!
